The Kappa Foundation of Cary, in conjunction with the Cary (NC) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., has partnered with Walmart to offer a fun-filled morning of Christmas shopping for some well-deserving young people for our &nbsp;Annual Shop with a Kappa (SWAK) event. We realize that the effects of inflation and the rising cost of goods and services can oftentimes result in stress during the holiday season. &nbsp;Understanding this, we want to help relieve some of that stress associated with this time of year by creating an opportunity to participate in an amazing experience for our children.Shop with a Kappa (SWAK) is a very simple concept. Each child will be assigned to one of our Chapter members or Volunteers who will accompany them on a shopping spree at Walmart. &nbsp;The child can purchase any item he or she desires within a predetermined budget of $150. Although the child can purchase whatever they want, we always ask them to bless someone else during this shopping experience. This is a wonderful life lesson about being selfless.
