Our handlers will guide the session and share each bird&rsquo;s story, behavior, and role in our conservation work. Photos with Taku will be available 10am - 2pm on Nov. 6th - 8th.** Taku:&nbsp;Taku is an Female American Kestrel who hatched in Pennsylvania in 2023. She was previously trained as a falconry bird and joined the American Bald Eagle Foundation in 2025.Her name, Taku, comes from the Tlingit language and means &ldquo;Fierce Wind.&rdquo; Taku is energetic and alert, often seen hopping from perch to perch while chirping and chittering. If you are fortunate, you may observe one of the Kestrel&rsquo;s most remarkable adaptations&mdash;hovering in place over the ground as she focuses intently on potential prey. Tundra:&nbsp;Tundra joined the ABEF team in July of 2024. She came from a breeder in Las Vegas for educational purposes. She is a very curious bird and is intrigued by everything around her. She often plays with various toys and loves to pounce on them.
