Deep in the woods (on a marked trail) stands our personal retreat house. The retreat house was intentionally built into the side of a hill to keep warm in the winter and to stay cool in the summer.
The purpose of the retreat house is to provide a safe and comfortable place for deep reflection and introspection. Ideal for writing or meditating. Due to the nature of the space, it was purposely built to accommodate one person at a time.
Inside you will find a bed to rest on, a wood stove with firewood and matches to keep warm, a small desk for writing and maybe even a couple of small treasures that other travelers have left behind as an offering.
(If you would like to book this space for the afternoon....anytime from 12:00 PM-5:00 PM please inform guest services before hand )

We offer private tours for those interested in learning more about our community and its history. Tours usually last 1–2 hours, depending on the weather and your interests and questions. These experiences are donation-based, with a suggested contribution of $25 per person.
