"I was honored to be asked to do a painting for a second year in a row for a great cause that is near and dear to my heart. While trying to decide where to even start this one, something about the Resilience of the succulent just called to me. As much as I love this piece, it was a hard one to get through as I had two friends within two weeks lose loved ones to suicide. A lot of emotions were poured into this one and I could not be more proud of how it came out. Always know that even in less than ideal conditions the most beautiful things still prevail."
