Safety First: I will prioritize safety for myself, my children, and others by adhering to all safety rules, including those regarding equipment, behavior, and emergency procedures. 4. No Harassment or Intimidation: Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or offensive language will not be tolerated in any form. All participants are entitled to a safe and welcoming environment. 5. Participation Expectations: All participants, including children, are expected to engage appropriately in activities and be mindful of others. Dress Code Policy: To ensure a respectful, safe, and appropriate environment for all participants at events, workshops, and activities hosted by Southern Nevada Homeschool Association, the following dress code applies to all attendees, including children, parents, volunteers, and staff: Modesty &amp; Appropriateness – Clothing should be modest and suitable for a family-friendly environment. Clothing with offensive language, images, or slogans is not permitted. Coverage – Attire should cover undergarments and private areas adequately. Shorts, skirts, and dresses should be of a modest length. Footwear – Closed-toe shoes may be required for certain activities for safety reasons. Bare feet are not allowed except in designated areas. Activity-Appropriate Attire – Participants should dress appropriately for the event (e.g., athletic wear for sports activities, casual attire for classroom settings, and weather appropriate clothing for outdoor events). Prohibited Attire: Clothing that contains profanity, inappropriate graphics, or offensive messages. Sheer or excessively revealing clothing, including crop tops, short shorts, or low-cut tops. Pajamas or sleepwear (except for designated events). Costumes or accessories that may be disruptive unless permitted for a themed event. Enforcement: If a participant’s attire is deemed inappropriate, event organizers or staff will address the concern privately. Individuals may be asked to adjust their clothing, cover up, or, in some cases, change into alternative attire.
