Throughout Scripture we see Jesus connecting with others around a table, sharing meals and meaningful conversation. During the retreat, six home-cooked meals will be provided. These meals create intentional moments for deeper connection with one another. Prayer, laughter, encouragement, and connection have consistently flowed during these times of breaking bread together. Devotion Each day includes several songwriting sessions, but before we write, we prioritize encountering the Lord. We begin by worshiping Him and creating space for His presence. Local pastors and ministry leaders will also join us to share devotional messages. Rather than focusing on songwriting techniques, these moments are designed to help us behold Jesus with awe and wonder. We believe the best songs are written from a place of encountering Him in His presence. Songwriting FeaturesThroughout the retreat we will host four songwriting sessions.During each session, one participant will serve as the Feature, meaning they will lead the writing session by sharing the initial vision or direction for the song. This provides clarity for the group and helps everyone collaborate effectively while serving the vision for the song.
