SYRUP

Unlike previous years, this year’s Sorghum Harvest will be a more intimate gathering. Sweet Freedom Farm is moving through a period of change that has invited us to slow down, listen deeply and scale back. Our harvest is reflective of that cadence. We’re deeply grateful for the support and presence of our community in previous year's Sorghum Harvest. For this year’s gathering, we’re turning our attention towards deepening our relationship with sorghum: exploring how they look, feel, grow, taste, while learning more about their journey to Turtle Island. Together, we’ll share a meal, swap stories and reflect on migration and our reverence for this beautiful, medicinal and ancestral crop.
