She is 1/2 of the family duo of the cottage industry, Suku Mokki. Her work lives at the intersection of usefulness and meaning—creating baskets, textiles, and objects meant to be carried, worn, and lived with.  She believes making is a form of remembering - how to work with your hands, how to move at a human pace, how to create something that lasts.  In her classes, Lori teaches traditional weaving techniques with a modern, practical lens, guiding students to build pieces that are not only beautiful, but deeply usable. Her hope is that every student leaves with more than a basket...they leave with a renewed sense that they can make what they need. **When completing your registration form you will have the option to provide an additional donation to support the upkeep of Zeffy.
