Step into the world of partnership dance! In this upbeat and welcoming class, students will learn the fundamentals of five iconic ballroom and Latin styles: Waltz, Foxtrot, Cha Cha, Salsa and Swing. Each week introduces a new rhythm and movement pattern, with a focus on proper frame, dance hold and partnering skills.

Beyond the steps, students will explore the etiquette of social dance — from respectful communication with a partner to how to enter and exit the dance floor with confidence and poise. We’ll also highlight the powerful life skills ballroom dance builds naturally: teamwork, spatial awareness, leadership and followership, musicality, self-expression and the confidence that comes from mastering something new.

Our final class transforms into a fun, mini social dance party, giving students a chance to put their skills into action while celebrating all they’ve accomplished together.

No experience needed. Just bring comfy shoes, a positive attitude and your best smile — the dance floor is calling! This is a semester class, costume for recital is included!
