The course teaches the basic 2D and 3D skills of Onshape.com, an industry standard CAD software that is used by professionals worldwide.&nbsp; There are 2 sessions each Wednesday for 8 weeks - one from 10:00 am to 11:30 am and a second from 11:30am to 1 pm. The class size in limited to 8 students per session with ages 12 and up.&nbsp; The instructor is Eric Fischer, a 25 year veteran teacher of engineering in a high school in San Diego, California. He still holds California teaching credentials and has a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a Masters of Ed in Cross Cultural Teaching. He retired to Connecticut (it&#39;s a long story!) in 2021 where he founded Global STEM Partnership, Inc., a 501c3 non profit corporation whose mission is &quot;to empower underserved communities with equitable access to innovative educational tools, knowledge, and opportunities in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics&quot; both here and abroad.&nbsp;
