Maps and historic photographs from the archives of the National Canal Museum/Delaware &amp; Lehigh National Heritage Corridor will illustrate the progression of transportation through the Gap from the early 19th century to the present.<p fr-original-style="width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);" style="width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; color: rgb(15, 14, 91); line-height: 1.5;"> <p fr-original-style="width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);" style="width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; color: rgb(15, 14, 91); line-height: 1.5;">More about Martha: Growing up in Catasauqua, where she still lives, sparked her interest in local and industrial history. She has been on the museum, archives, and education staff of the D&amp;L since 2012, though she was associated with the museum for many years before through her friendship with her mentor Lance Metz. Martha was a researcher and editor at Rodale from 1980 to 2001. She has written four books for Arcadia&rsquo;s Images of America series and three books for Lucent Books&rsquo; school editions, on the histories of swimming, auto racing, and Vatican City. She is the author of the industrial history of the D&amp;L Corridor titled Geography, Geology, and Genius: how coal and canals ignited the American Industrial Revolution.&nbsp;<p fr-original-style="width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);" style="width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; color: rgb(15, 14, 91); line-height: 1.5;"> <p fr-original-style="color:rgb(60, 64, 67);font-family:Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:0.2px;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:pre-wrap;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;" style="color: rgb(60, 64, 67); font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.2px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; line-height: 1.5;">Register: Please register online through this event form.<p fr-original-style="color:rgb(60, 64, 67);font-family:Roboto, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-variant-ligatures:normal;font-variant-caps:normal;font-weight:400;letter-spacing:0.2px;orphans:2;text-align:start;text-indent:0px;text-transform:none;widows:2;word-spacing:0px;-webkit-text-stroke-width:0px;white-space:pre-wrap;background-color:rgb(255, 255, 255);text-decoration-thickness:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-color:initial;width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;" style="color: rgb(60, 64, 67); font-family: Roboto, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; font-weight: 400; letter-spacing: 0.2px; orphans: 2; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255); text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; line-height: 1.5;"> <p fr-original-style="width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);" style="width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; color: rgb(15, 14, 91); line-height: 1.5;">Fee:&nbsp;LGNC members: FREE |&nbsp;Non-members: Suggested donation of $5 per person<p fr-original-style="width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);" style="width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; color: rgb(15, 14, 91); line-height: 1.5;"> <p fr-original-style="width:100%;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;box-sizing:inherit;color:rgb(15, 14, 91);" style="width: 100%; margin: 0px; box-sizing: inherit; color: rgb(15, 14, 91); line-height: 1.5;">Questions?
