Join Life Reins this January for a special professional training experience bringing together Equine-Facilitated Psychotherapy (EFP) and Neuroexperiential Models.&nbsp; In collaboration with a guest practitioner, Cara Wilkerson, from California, this training will explore how neuroexperiential principles and techniques can be thoughtfully incorporated into the equine-facilitated environment. Participants will have the opportunity to build upon foundational EFP skills while exploring another experiential, body-aware approach to trauma treatment. New to EFP Training?Our January 3-Day EFP Foundations Training will serve as the prerequisite for the EFP + EquiAttune training.Participants who have not previously completed a Life Reins EFP training should register for the EFP + EquiAttune Package, which includes:EFP Foundations Training<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Day 1: Classroom instruction and EFP foundations</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Day 2: Hands-on equine application and experiential learning</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Day 3: Participant-led mock EFP sessions with feedback and support</li></ul>Following completion of the foundational training, participants will be eligible to attend the EquiAttune.&nbsp; Already Trained with Life Reins?If you have previously completed a Life Reins EFP training, you have already met the prerequisite and may register for the EquiAttune training only.&nbsp; EquiAttune&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">This workshop will introduce and describe the Neuroexperiential Model (NEM)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will be able to define and describe the Uncertainty Principle</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will be able to define and describe the Dual Attunement Frame, including the Relational and Neurobiological Attunement Frame</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">&nbsp;Participants will be able to define and describe Focused Mindful Processing with a Brainspotting session.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will participate in and practice creative ways of enhancing and growing relationalattunement with equines.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will be able to identify at least 3 ways equines add to the Neurobiological Attunement Frame.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will be able to identify at least 3 ways equines add to the Focused MindfulProcessing.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will be able to identify at least 3 ways equines assist in co-regulation.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will apply the Dual Attunement Frame, through multiple group experientials and practicums</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participants will practice receiving the client&rsquo;s frame, holding it and shaping it with the client through practicums.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">There will be 3 EquiAttune demonstrations applying and integrating the NEM into EAS sessions.</li></ul>Who Should Attend?This training is designed for licensed and pre-licensed mental health professionals interested in expanding their use of experiential, trauma-informed, somatic, and equine-facilitated approaches.Participants will receive a Certificate of Completion for the applicable training as well as 17.5 CE&#39;s.&nbsp; Important: Completion of a Life Reins EFP Foundations Training is required before participating in the EquiAttune specialty training. Registration for the specialty training alone is reserved for clinicians who have previously completed a Life Reins EFP training.
