LXCL:Build your public speaking skills through our 4-Week Toastmasters Speechcraft Program, then put those skills into practice in the Speech Competition. The Speechcraft Program is open to all interested participants and is designed to help strengthen confidence, communication, organization, presentation, and public speaking skills. Participants may join Speechcraft as a standalone professional development opportunity and are not required to compete. The Speech Competition is exclusively open to registered attendees of the District 2 Mini Congress. Conference attendees who choose to compete can use the Speechcraft sessions to prepare, refine their ideas, strengthen their delivery, and build confidence before taking the stage. Competition participants may deliver a speech on any professionally appropriate topic. Creativity is encouraged! Toastmasters Speechcraft + Speech Competition

Develop your confidence, strengthen your communication skills, and put your voice into practice through the 4-Week Toastmasters Speechcraft Program and Speech Competition. The 4-Week Toastmasters Speechcraft Program is open to all interested participants and offers a professional development opportunity focused on public speaking, effective communication, presentation skills, and confidence-building. Participants will learn practical speaking techniques and develop skills that can be applied in professional, academic, leadership, and everyday settings. By registering for this program by August 31, participants have the option to:<ol fr-original-style="" style="width: 100%; box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participate in the 4-session Toastmasters Speechcraft series;</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participate in the Speech Competition, if they are also registered for the District 2 Mini Congress; or</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Participate in both the Speechcraft series and the Speech Competition, if they are also registered for the District 2 Mini Congress.</li></ol>Only participants who register by August 31 will be eligible to take part in the 4-session Speechcraft series. Conference attendees may choose to participate in the Speech Competition at any time up until the start of the competition at the conference, even if they did not register for the Speechcraft series by August 31.
