About Our AssociationOur Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established to support our members, the Spencer, Iowa community, and local law enforcement officers and their families. Our mission is to promote public safety and strengthen community relationships within Spencer through charitable initiatives and outreach.Over the years, we have proudly given back to the community in a variety of ways, including:<ul data-end="871" data-start="568" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li data-end="685" data-start="568" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Collaborating with the D.A.R.E. program to award an annual scholarship to a graduating Spencer High School senior</li><li data-end="822" data-start="686" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Sponsoring local initiatives such as youth rec baseball/softball teams (SYBA), after prom events, and the Spencer Fine Arts Boosters</li><li data-end="871" data-start="823" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Hosting the annual &ldquo;Shop with a Cop&rdquo; program</li><li data-end="871" data-start="823" fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">New basketball backboards and rims for Spencer YMCA</li></ul>This year, we aim to continue our tradition of giving by supporting several local organizations in need. Additionally, a portion of the funds raised will be dedicated to launching an educational campaign to raise awareness about Iowa&rsquo;s newly passed hands-free driving law. Through these efforts, we hope to enhance public safety and continue making a positive impact in our community.
