Participants can create blackout poetry collages, enjoy poetry-themed snacks & refreshments, vote on their favorite blackout poem, enroll in a poetry reading, and more! Tickets for the event are $5 per person. You can also bring 3 canned items to donate in place of buying a ticket. Send in community poetry contest submissions (any poetry), sign up to read/perform poetry during the event, and/or RSVP by March 31st. Two chances to win the poetry contest:~ Submit any type of poem by March 31st to be judged before the event and showcased in The GLO Center during the event.~ Create a blackout poem during the event and win the audience choice award. There will be a chance for all participants to be published in a local poetry anthology! Suggested dress code: Dress like a poet!
