Sponsor an exhibition in our second-floor south gallery, a home to smaller-scale, archive-driven shows like New Women — an oral history installation honoring 18 women from Chinatown — and the CAMOC Archive Series. Sponsor an Artist Talk, where CAMOC's exhibiting or Spotlight artists speak directly about their work. Talks have ranged from Jingqi Wang Steinhiser on world-building through painting to Maggie Wong introducing her exhibition UNITY. These conversations give visitors direct access to the artist behind the work on the walls.

Sponsor a movie screening at CAMOC, often paired with a panel or filmmaker discussion. Past screening programs range from WUHAN WUHAN (co-presented with Asian Pop-Up Cinema) to Hollywood Chinese and Celestials. These screenings bring Chinese American stories to the big screen, right in Chinatown.

CAMOC's cultural celebrations are how Chinatown welcomes the whole city in. We celebrate the Lunar New Year with lion dance, musical performances, and calligraphy. And we kickoff Pride Month with special exhibitions and drag show that honor Chicago's queer AANHPI community. CAMOC's Annual Benefit Dinner is our largest fundraiser of the year — a full-course Chinese banquet, live performances, and a silent auction at New Furama Restaurant, bringing together hundreds of guests. Now marking 25 years of tradition, it's central to keeping our exhibitions and programs going.

Every fall, CAMOC brings mooncakes, lantern-making, and Chinese cultural performances to the lakefront at Set in Stone Gathering Space, through our long-running Roots & Routes partnership with the Chicago Park District, the Field Museum, and The Nature Conservancy.
