My name is Emily Hardee and I am the President of Run Today for Tomorrow, Inc. a 5K walk/run to fight suicide. I started this event in 2019 in memory of my cousin Molly Yacko who we lost to Suicide on June 29, 2018. This June 27, 2026 will be our 7th annual 5k that we are continuing to host because we believe in a Tomorrow where everyone is here to see it. In the past six years, we&rsquo;ve had over 1,756 registrants and have raised over $128,466.60 for Mental Health Resources. Last year we presented the Youth Service Bureau and North Central Behavioral Health Systems with a check for $7,000 to assist multiple local community members who need financial assistance in getting the mental health services they need, as well as a $1,000 scholarship opportunity that we created to help a student from our community further pursue their education in the mental health field of study.
