It&#39;s finally spring and one of the very best times to be in Oldtown, Maryland! It&#39;s also our Semiquincentennial and we will be celebrating our country&#39;s 250th all year long!&nbsp; Enjoy a Sunday afternoon exploring the 1764 built stone house of Captain Michael Cresap and learn how family loyalty led to the brick addition about 1781. Celebrate how this house was part of the birth of these great United States, and appreciate your freedom within the walls of where Cresap&#39;s Rifles gathered in 1775 as the First Company of Maryland Riflemen prepared for their Beeline March to Cambridge, Massachusetts to support George Washington. 100% of all ticket sales and donations go towards care and maintenance of the historic house. The house is owned by a 501c3 Non-Profit Corporation registered with the Maryland Secretary of State and is tax deductible.&nbsp;
