Join Lawrence Greene on a moderate hike along the The Mingo medicine trail at Solid Ground Farm  Some of the trail signs have been labeled with the Mingo language, an Iroquoian language native to the areas of western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio and West Virginia.

We will descend through a mature Southeastern Forest full of life and wildflowers. Along with seeing the flora and fauna on the trail, we will also be talking about some of the local history, including coal mining history as we explore the "Ruins" of that era, noting how Mother Nature has reclaimed the Land.
