Welcome to Strides for Strays Fun Run/Walk! Each loop of the fairgrounds is 1 kilometer (approximately 0.5 miles), allowing you to complete 1K, 2K, or 3K. This event will take place at the Lancaster Fairgrounds in Lancaster, NH. We are excited to host this fun event to help raise money for the animals that come into Riverside Rescue each year. Riverside Rescue takes in around 400 dogs and cats annually, which strains our budget. Unfortunately, pet relinquishment continues to rise due to various economic factors, making it difficult for some to afford food, supplies, and veterinary care. For many, the choice can come down to maintaining housing or keeping their pets.&nbsp; For the past 23 years, Riverside Rescue has worked diligently to maintain our no-kill nonprofit status. This commitment comes at a significant financial cost, as we rely heavily on donations and fundraisers.&nbsp; Be sure to download (this will be included in your thank-you email), or download from the website, or stop by for a pledge form to collect pledges for this event. Bring the collected funds with you to the check-in table. Exciting prizes await top fundraisers, including gift cards, logo merchandise, and a spot on the Lobby Strides for Strays Engraved Plaque for the top pledger!
