🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Strike a Cure for Ataxia&#39;s fundraising event. It&#39;s an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 A &ldquo;40-frame game&rdquo; in bowling is less of a standard league format and more of a fun challenge. &nbsp;🎳 Here&rsquo;s how it works:The basics<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Instead of the usual 10 frames, you play 40 frames in a row.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">You keep a continuous score, just like a normal game, but with fun twists</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">It&rsquo;s essentially four full games back-to-back, but tracked as one giant score.</li></ul>Scoring<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Each frame is a different type of score.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Strikes and spares are the same, but you will now have fun twisted frames such as &quot;sour grapes,&quot; &quot;mulligan,&quot; and &quot;9 pin-no-tap.&quot;</li></ul>Why do people do it<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Friendly competition.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Tests consistency, stamina, and focus (your arm will definitely have opinions by frame 30 😄).</li></ul> So in short, a 40-frame game is just bowling with many different twists: same rules, longer road, and a lot more chances to either shine&hellip; or spiral gloriously into gutter-ball chaos.
