Grace Center is thrilled to welcome Nashville duo Striking Matches for an intimate evening of world-class music right here in Mills River. Sarah Zimmermann and Justin Davis met on their first day in a guitar class at Belmont University — and have been setting stages on fire together ever since. Nine of their songs were featured on ABC's Nashville, their music has appeared on Grey's Anatomy and American Idol, and their debut album Nothing But the Silence was produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett. Blending country, blues, rock, and Americana with dueling guitars and soaring harmonies, theirs is the kind of live show Vince Gill called "high octane" — and you'll experience it up close. This concert is presented by the Grace Center, a nonprofit celebrating the transformative power of the arts in Western North Carolina. We believe beauty is a gift meant for everyone — so bring a friend, bring your family, and come enjoy an unforgettable night of music. Your support helps keep world-class arts events accessible to our whole community. An optional donation at checkout goes directly toward future Grace Center programming.
