Our Winter 2026 Stronger Together Life Skills Class for middle schoolers meets for 8 weekly sessions on Tuesdays, through March 24 from 5:30 &ndash; 7:00 PM.&nbsp; This course is especially for youth in grades 6 through 9 who have lived experiences in one or more service systems such as:<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Social services (foster care, child welfare, family services)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Special education (learning or emotional disability or other condition)</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Mental health services</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Substance use treatment/recovery</li></ul>Group meetings are facilitated by trained young adult peer facilitators. The group utilizes the evidence-based Botvin Life Skills Training curriculum; sessions include time for open discussion and peer support. A light dinner is served each evening. Regular weekly attendance is expected.&nbsp; Note that interested youth, regardless of family type or structure, are welcome.
