Registration Fee

Summer Camp at Wiregrass Pets 🐾 brings kids and rescue animals together for hands-on learning and gentle, supervised fun. Campers help with daily care, learn about safe animal interaction, responsible pet ownership, and see how compassion helps abandoned and neglected pets start again. By registering, you support our mission to provide a safe, loving environment for animals while teaching the next generation how to treat pets with respect and kindness. 🌞 Get ready for a summer full of fun, learning, and furry friends at Wiregrass Pet Rescue & Adoption Center’s Summer Camp! Held Monday through Friday each week in June from 9am-3pm, this exciting camp gives kids a hands-on opportunity to connect with animals while making a difference. This summer camp is for children ages 6–12. Campers will enjoy engaging Humane Education workshops, spend time socializing with adorable puppies and kitties, and get creative by making enrichment items to improve the lives of shelter animals. Midweek brings extra excitement with Wednesday bouncy house fun, while Fridays wrap up with sno cones and waterslide celebrations! Each participant will receive a special summer camp t-shirt to remember their experience. Camp cost is $150 per week for the general public and $125 per week for children or grandchildren of active shelter volunteers. Campers should bring a packed lunch each day, and we’ll provide additional snacks and drinks. This is shaping up to be a meaningful and memorable summer experience your child won’t want to miss!
