A family credit will be added to the recipient&#39;s Jumbula account that can be redeemed when registration opens. &nbsp;Your T-shirt will be ready the first week of summer camp for pickup.&nbsp; Why are we opening summer registration in the fall?&nbsp;Sellwood Community House is a nonprofit organization with a relatively small staff team and Summer Camp is a big operation. It takes our team months to prepare for each summer and the earlier we know who will be joining us each year, the more intentional our planning process can be. This includes:&nbsp;<ul fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;"><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Hiring the right number of staff based on enrollment. Did you know summer staff hiring begins in December!</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Planning programs and activities based on camper ages and interests.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Mapping out food, supplies, and equipment for the number of campers attending.</li><li fr-original-style="" style="box-sizing: inherit;">Ensuring adequate resources and supports for health and safety needs before campers arrive.</li></ul>We know that planning for summer in September can feel counterintuitive, and so we are offering discounted tuition to early-bird planners.&nbsp; This offer is only available for a limited time, for limited quantities!
