Confluence, the place where jazz meets everything else. 

Confluence is the Palouse’s newest jazz trio. Consisting of three friends, Confluence weaves together the separate influences of the band members to form a blend that really swings. Drummer Dave Hoyt brings his interest in Latin jazz to the table, along with his consummate rhythmic chops. Emily Cukier’s eclectic interests supercharge her elegant and hard-swinging approach to acoustic bass. Guitarist Brian Clark draws on his love of jazz, rock, and fusion to frost the rhythm section with melodies from jazz standards, pop tunes, and deep cuts from around the world
