Sundays on the Greenway is a come-as-you-are summer series designed to bring families and community together outdoors. Join Black Kids Adventures for a relaxed afternoon on the Flint River Greenway, a paved 1.87 -mile trail created to help more people safely access the outdoors. Kids are welcome to walk, bike, scooter, or skate while adults enjoy a casual stroll and conversation. Whether you&#39;re looking to move your body, spend time with family, meet new people, or simply enjoy a little fresh air, this gathering is for you. This is not a guided walk or organized hike, just a chance for community to come together outside. Feel free to walk the entire trail or just a portion of it. There&rsquo;s no pressure, no rushing, and no expectation to keep a certain pace. At 5:00 PM, those who would like to continue hanging out are invited to join Black Kids Adventures at the natural playground in the preserve for free play and popsicles while supplies last.&nbsp; Bring the family, bring a friend, or come on your own. To get there, follow the road through Hays Nature Preserve until you reach the back of the preserve. You&#39;ll see a parking lot near the bridge&mdash;this is where we&#39;ll gather and begin.
