Join us for a memorable sunrise hike at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area! This moderate to strenuous 0.8-mile (one way) trail climbs about 425 feet up a massive granite dome, rewarding hikers with breathtaking panoramic views as the sun rises. The climb is steep and challenging, but the peaceful sunrise and shared light breakfast at the summit make it well worth the effort. Come ready for an early start, a good workout, and an unforgettable morning outdoors. You will need to reserve a pass ahead of time. If you have the Texas State Park Pass, your entry is free when you register! Because we are racing the sun, please make sure you arrive when the gates open at 6:30am. We will meet in the parking lot and start the trail no later than 6:45am.
