With a voice described as “powerful” and “extraordinary” (Operawire), she has recently been heard as Dame Carruthers in Young Victorian Theatre Company’s 2025 production of The Yeomen of the Guard and in her role and company debuts as Mrs. Anderssen with St. Pete Opera’s production of A Little Night Music. Other roles include Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana), Fricka (Das Rheingold), Komponist (Ariadne auf Naxos), Queen Alkmene (Die Liebe der Danae), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Baba (The Medium), and Grimgerde (Die Walküre). A champion of new music, in 2025, Ms. Sacks created the role of Elizabeth Barrett-Browning in Patricia Wallinga’s The Sisters with Liberty City Arts and joined City Lyric Opera for the New York premiere of Amy Beth Kirsten’s Savior. She has also premiered works with the Oregon Composers’ Forum, the Tai Hei Ensemble, and both the University of Oregon and Stanford University composition departments.  She holds degrees from Stanford University and the University of Georgia and has received awards from the American Prize in Opera, the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions, the Orpheus Competition, Opera Connecticut, and NATSAA. Throughout her educational and professional career, Greta has obtained a repertoire that spans from the baroque era to the 21st century. Roles she has performed include ‘Belinda’ (Cover) in Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas, ‘Amore’ in Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice, ‘Queen of the Night’ in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, ‘La Fée’ in Jules Massanet’s Cendrillon, ‘Titania’ in Benjamin Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, ‘Amelia Havisham’ in Dominick Argento’s Miss Havisham’s Wedding Night, and Margot in Jake Runestad’s Daughters of the Bloody Duke. Greta most recently performed with Philadelphia’s Opera on Tap as the seductive ‘Alice 1’ in Melissa Dunphy’s Alice Tierney. Along with operatic repertoire, Greta enjoys delving into the comedic nuances of light opera. She is a member of the Savoy Gilibert and Sullivan Co. and has performed with the company as ‘Julia’ in The Grand Duke and ‘Pitti Sing’ in their 2025 production of The Mikado.        Performing as Sour Genovieffa has been a desire of Greta’s since she was 18 years old when she sang in the chorus of Sour Angelica with the Oberlin in Italy program. An advocate of new music, Ms Zeledón has participated in various world premieres, including Alice Tierney (Zandra), The Sisters (Elizabeth Barrett Browning, cover), and Mr. Twister (South Wind). An active recitalist, she performs with Opera on Tap and is a member of the Fry Trio, and has produced and performed in Mezcla de Raices, a virtual recital exploring Latinx identity through the last three centuries. Past operatic highlights include La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica), La Badessa (Suor Angelica), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Alcina (Alcina), Almera (Dark Sisters), and Frau Fluth (Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor). In 2024, Ms Zeledón placed as a semi-finalist for the Bing-Cooper Competition, as well as the International Music Grand Prix competition. She is a four time semi-finalist with the NYIOP + Premiere Foundation Competition semifinalist, and won third place in the Classical Singer Fall Competition in 2020. In 2017, she was an Advanced Artist at the Boston Conservatory’s Opera Intensive in Valencia, Spain. In the summer of 2016, Ms. Zeledón was an Advanced Artist at OperaWorks. She is also a proud recipient of the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship. Ms. Zeledón received her Professional Studies Certificate in Voice Performance and M.M in Opera Performance at the Boston Conservatory. She obtained a B.M. in Vocal Performance from the New England Conservatory and a B.A. in International Relations and German Studies from Tufts University.
