Studio Theatre Worcester returns after a riveting run of The Minutes with their first musical since 2023: Superhero by Tony-award winning writer John Logan and the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Tom Kitt. Superhero tells the story of a mother and son grappling with a devastating loss and the mysterious stranger who helps them on their journey. Before we can save the world, we have to save each other. From the Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning composer of Next to Normal and the Tony Award-winning writer of Red comes a deeply human new musical about a fractured family, the mysterious stranger in apartment 4-B, and the unexpected hero who just might save the day.&nbsp; Superhero is directed by John Wayland Somers, with Music Direction by Kris Layton, and stars Christina Pierro-Biggins, Elliot Cetinski, Todd Vickstrom, Erica Shields, Erik Johnsen, Scott Salley, Alyssa Morales, and Casey Williamson. NOTE:&nbsp;We will hold a special post-show conversation with select members from our cast, production team, and community artists following our June 21st performance of Superhero.We will have a special pre-show presentation of our Boston Theatre Marathon selection, Soothsay, before our June 27th performance of Superhero.&nbsp; Performances for this production will be in the Flanagan Theatre at Southgate at Shrewsbury (30 Julio Drive, Shrewsbury, MA 01545).
