The Friends of the Highly Gifted Magnet, Inc. (FHGM) is a volunteer parent-run 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that is dedicated to enhancing the quality of academics, extra-curricular activities and physical environment for the students of the North Hollywood High School: Highly Gifted Magnet (&ldquo;HGM&rdquo;) &nbsp;Our goal is to help our students get the most out of their HGM experience. There is a substantial gap between what our magnet students need and what the Los Angeles Unified School District is able to supply. North Hollywood High School is a Title One school and 70% of students come from low income families.&nbsp;The Friends of the HGM was created to bridge that gap and support teacher and student needs. &nbsp;There are many categories in which HGM students will greatly benefit from generous philanthropic donations.
