Susan&#39;s expertise came from her architectural engineering background which made her a unique type of lighting designer with a great balance between technical knowledge and conceptual design.&nbsp; Always dedicated to her community through volunteering and organizing in hopes of keeping the community connected, Susan&#39;s favorite event was the IES Seattle Scavenger Hunt which raises funds for the GKL Memorial Scholarship, benefiting students and emerging lighting professionals.
