Celebrate Swiss National Day with the Swiss Center of North America!&nbsp; Enjoy a special Swiss dinner at Bailey&#39;s Run Vineyard in New Glarus with guest speaker Master Cheesemaker Steve Stettler, try out our new online digital collections catalog, and learn what the Swiss Center has been up to over the past year!&nbsp; Join us for a 5 PM reception before a 5:45 PM dinner. Our menu includes a buffet dinner of jaegerschnitzel, schublig, kalberwurst, salad, and dessert.&nbsp; Steve Stettler is a Swiss-American Wisconsin Master Cheesemaker who has developed several new cheeses for Decatur Dairy in Brodhead, Wisconsin, including a European style Havarti, a Swiss-lace style cheese, an authentic Beer Cheese, &nbsp;a Colby-Swiss marbled cheese and a new project and goal to produce and market String Cheese. Decatur Dairy also produces Muenster, Brick, Farmers, Colby Longhorn, Butterkase and many other varieties. Steve and Decatur Dairy have won U.S. and World Cheese Contest awards, including Best of Class in Cheese Curds in the World Cheese Contest in 2022, 2024 and 2026 held every other year. Steve&#39;s family originally emigrated from the Canton of Bern in 1921 and ran a co-op between Juda and Monroe, Wisconsin. The Swiss Stettlers still reside and farm north of Interlaken today. Refunds available until Friday, July 25th. **Charges will show up on your account as from Zeffy, not the Swiss Center****Please note that the &#39;tip&#39; to Zeffy is not required and can be changed to $0.**
