Tackle-a-Thon Fundraiser &mdash; Support Frederick Women&rsquo;s Rugby Frederick Women&rsquo;s Rugby is heading into the playoffs as the #1 seed in our division, and we&rsquo;re ready to fight for a spot in the final. During our home semi-final match, we&rsquo;re hosting a Tackle-a-Thon to help raise funds for travel to the championship game &mdash; and this time, you can be part of the action in a whole new way. The supporter who backs the most tackles will win their choice of team swag and a complimentary bottle of wine! Here&rsquo;s how it works:Supporters can choose a specific position to back &mdash; for example, scrumhalf (#9), a forward position, or your favorite spot on the field &mdash; and pledge any dollar amount per tackle. That amount will be multiplied by the total number of tackles made during the game by that position.All players who rotate into that position (including substitutions) will count toward the total tackles. You can also make a flat donation to support the team as a whole. Every tackle becomes more than just a play &mdash; it&rsquo;s a direct contribution to helping us reach the final.
