We hope you can join us for the first annual Takoma Park Lunch and Learn Fundraiser hosted by Roxanne Fulcher and Keith Chamberlin. We will be joined by keynote speaker Takoma Park Mayor Talisha Searcy. We will enjoy an evening of appetizers and drinks. 

Lunch and Learn is a six week summer camp that provides educational support and fun experiences for children of low income residents of Takoma Park.  The program, offered at no cost to families, is staffed by educators from our community who are committed to strengthening participants’ existing skills and knowledge and by teen volunteers who are equally committed to ensuring participants enjoy and have fun during the days of summer. The camp is a free, trusted environment that gives parents peace of mind about the wellbeing of their children and allows them to avoid the stress of finding and paying for childcare while schools are closed for the summer.

Lunch and Learn has supported over a thousand children since it was created in 2013.

Please be aware that space is limited and tickets are available on a first come basis.
