As the outdoor community faces unprecedented threats to public lands and drastic funding cuts for recreation, TAMBA is more focused than ever on harnessing the transformative power of philanthropy to maintain a bright future for Tahoe trails. Building Connections will bring together our Core Supporter community to recognize the significant impact of their generosity on recreation in Tahoe and raise vital funds to support basin-wide trail development and maintenance into the future. GUIDED HIKE ALONG TAHOE VISTA TRAIL (optional)Guests are also invited to join TAMBA and Heavenly leadership on a guided hike along the as-yet-unbuilt Tahoe Vista trail prior to the celebration at Lakeview Lodge. This wholly unique opportunity will allow attendees to experience a stunning section of planned trail that will eventually connect East Peak Lake to the top of the gondola and down to the California Base Lodge within the Heavenly trails network. Registration spots for the hike are very limited. Please ensure you register for the hike in addition to the Lakeview Lodge celebration if you would like to join us for both. The out-and-back route will be approximately 2 miles long across uneven terrain featuring panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountains.What to bring: warm weather-appropriate clothing and additional layers in case of cool or wet weather, sunscreen, water, and snacks. Due to uneven terrain along the route, hiking shoes with ankle support are recommended.
