Teachers spend all year watching what they say. On Friday, December 4, they finally get to say it.Nerd Academy presents Irma Ruiz’s Teachers Gone Bad, a hilarious night of comedy about the problems, pressure, personalities, and pure absurdity found inside today’s education system. If you have ever been a student, had a teacher, raised a child, or survived a parent-teacher conference, you will find something to laugh about. For educators, it is a chance to let loose, breathe a sigh of relief, and hear someone finally say out loud what teachers usually have to keep to themselves. Come laugh with us while supporting a serious mission. Proceeds benefit Nerd Academy and our work to build stronger readers right here in our community. The literacy crisis is real. We are not waiting for another committee to solve it. We chose to become part of the solution from day one. One night. A lot of laughs. A mission that matters.
