En el Museo y Centro Cultural de Bonita estamos celebrando una nueva escultura p&uacute;blica del artista de South Bay Michael Leaf titulada Chameleon IT. Esta escultura de metal que cambia de color, &uacute;nica en su g&eacute;nero, estar&aacute; ubicada en el exterior del edificio del museo. La presentaci&oacute;n y encendido de la nueva escultura se llevar&aacute; a cabo el s&aacute;bado 16 de mayo de 5pm a 9pm durante The Big Reveal, el evento estelar del a&ntilde;o del museo. Acerca de la escultura espec&iacute;fica del sitio de Michael Leaf, Siempre que conduzco o voy en bicicleta frente al museo, he estado pregunt&aacute;ndome...&iquest;C&oacute;mo puede el exterior del museo reflejar lo que est&aacute; sucediendo dentro del museo? &iquest;Qu&eacute; se podr&iacute;a hacer que sea lo suficientemente potente y significativo como para representar la vitalidad del arte, la historia, las actuaciones culturales y las exhibiciones dentro del edificio? Y entonces, &quot;eso&quot; me golpe&oacute;. Durante The Big Reveal tambi&eacute;n estamos celebrando el 20&ordm; aniversario del edificio y albergue del museo y del Centro Hist&oacute;rico de Bonita con el Condado de San Diego. Durante The Big Reveal estaremos homenajeando a Barbara y Robert &quot;Scott&quot; Scott, quienes han sido fundamentales en el desarrollo del museo a lo largo de los a&ntilde;os. Tanto Barbara como Scott han participado activamente en recaudar fondos para el jard&iacute;n de esculturas del museo, as&iacute; como en la exposici&oacute;n y apoyo a la programaci&oacute;n. Barbara es una miembro em&eacute;rita de la junta directiva, sirviendo en el consejo de administraci&oacute;n. Esta escultura de metal que cambia de color, única en su género, estará ubicada en el exterior del edificio del museo. La presentación y encendido de la nueva escultura se llevará a cabo el sábado 16 de mayo de 5pm a 9pm durante The Big Reveal, el evento estelar del año del museo. Acerca de la escultura específica del sitio de Michael Leaf, Siempre que conduzco o voy en bicicleta frente al museo, he estado preguntándome...¿Cómo puede el exterior del museo reflejar lo que está sucediendo dentro del museo? ¿Qué se podría hacer que sea lo suficientemente potente y significativo como para representar la vitalidad del arte, la historia, las actuaciones culturales y las exhibiciones dentro del edificio? Y entonces, "eso" me golpeó. Durante The Big Reveal también estamos celebrando el 20º aniversario del edificio y albergue del museo y del Centro Histórico de Bonita con el Condado de San Diego.
