A framed portrait of Shakespeare wearing pixelated sunglasses and a red clown nose is superimposed on a vibrant pink and yellow background with a speech bubble saying "Bard to the bone!".

When: October 2 - 11, 2026Where: 97900 Shopping Center Avenue, Unit 28, Brookings, OR 97415 About: 3 actors. 37 plays. 90 unhinged minutes. One big, beautiful mess. Think Shakespeare is all dusty tights and endless soliloquies? Think again. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised] [again] is less a classic play, and more of a high-speed comedy collision! Picture three delightfully delusional, wildly ambitious actors charging headfirst into the impossible: performing all of the Bard’s 37 plays in one single, chaotic evening. Armed with a dangerously sketchy grasp of the plots, a few half-remembered famous lines, and a tragic pile of bargain-bin costumes and props, this fearless trio launches like a rocket through Shakespeare’s massive cannon. From a cooking show version of Titus Andronicus to a high-speed Hamlet, no tragedy, history, or comedy will be spared. It’s fast, furious, and brilliantly absurd—whether you love the Bard, or barely made it through high school English, Shakespeare (abridged) has something for everyone. Warning: Much like our actors’ dignity, tickets to this show are limited. Grab yours now before they’re gone!
