We explore parenting styles, how your child&#39;s temperament influences behavior, and how attachment shapes lifelong emotional well-being. Session 2 &mdash;&nbsp;Thursday, October 8, 6:30PM - 8:00PMIndependence, Self-esteem, and Resilience. One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is the chance to become confident, capable, and independent. We look at how everyday responsibility, problem-solving, and age-appropriate decisions build self-worth. Session 3 &mdash;&nbsp;Thursday, October 22, 6:30PM - 8:00PMWhat is your child trying to tell you?. Behavior is a form of communication. We look beneath challenging behavior at brain development and developmental stage, then at clear expectations, consistent boundaries, and logical consequences. Led by two specialists in child development: Pilar Delgado, Ph.D., IMH-E &mdash; an early childhood development specialist and infant mental health consultant with more than 20 years supporting young children, families, and educators. Her research focuses on how brain development and relationships shape children&#39;s learning, behavior, and emotional well-being. Nicole Bortnik, LMHC, ATR, IMHS-E &mdash; a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist with extensive experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families. At The CHAT Lab, she develops curriculum and leads workshops across Miami.
