An Unforgettable Evening for a Stronger South LA Join us on Friday, December 4, 2026 at the Carson Civic Center for The $1Campaign Gala & Fundraiser, an uplifting evening of music, celebration and purpose. Honoring everyone who put a dollar behind the South Los Angeles Agenda. One dollar may feel small, but when a community gives together, small dollars become shared power. An evening to remember:

Live music and a festive atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

The Gala Campaign Awards, celebrating the faith leaders, health and wellness workers, volunteers, business leaders and residents who show up for South LA every day.

Special recognition of our sponsors, champions and partners for standing with the community. An inspiring room of neighbors, congregations, health partners, young people, seniors, businesses and allies coming together for one cause.

Why we gather: Healthcare and public benefit rules keep changing. Seniors, low-income families, immigrants and people managing serious health conditions are too often left trying to understand what changed, whether they are still covered and where they can turn for trusted guidance. The LAM Wellness Fund supports community-led solutions that keep residents connected to care, strengthen food access and bring reliable information into the neighborhoods, congregations and organizations people already trust. Your seat at the Gala helps us:

Protect seniors’ access to healthcare, benefits and trusted navigation.

Help low-income and immigrant families understand changing rules without giving up essential services because of fear.

Strengthen local food access and South Los Angeles’ community food economy.

Support trusted community organizations, faith leaders, health workers and resident-led solutions.

Share timely health and emergency information in clear, culturally relevant language.

This is more than charity. It is community-funded protection for health, food access and human dignity. CRSSLA has already raised $100,000 to launch the Wellness Fund, and this evening is our chance to carry that work forward together. Become a sponsor:Congregations, businesses, health plans, hospitals, banks and community partners are invited to reserve a Table of 8 or become a Wellness Fund Sponsor, with a premier table and recognition at the gala.
