Because the government has deliberately withheld these funds, TSU has had to lay off staff members, cut band trips and more. The University also has plans to cut scholarships and educational programs as early as April 2025 due to the scarcity of funds. This would NOT be happening if the overdue funds were rightfully released to the University. She is a third generation TSU graduate. She credits Tennessee State University for equipping her with strong public speaking and presentation skills&ndash;skills that play a vital role in her role as an Integrated Primary Prevention Specialist for the 118th Air Wing. During her time at TSU, she pledged the Alpha Psi chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
