Welcome to the Giving Gallery, an online auction celebrating local artists while supporting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Redwood Region and its &ldquo;Free Meal&rdquo; Dining Facility in Eureka. Each month, we&rsquo;ll feature art pieces donated by talented artists from Humboldt County&mdash;all to help nourish our community. To launch this effort, we are honored to present two vases created by the late Mark Campbell&mdash;accomplished ceramic artist, talented chef and longtime member of the St. Vinny&rsquo;s family. Mark organized the local &ldquo;Empty Bowls&rdquo; fundraiser, inspiring ceramic artists to donate handcrafted bowls. In 2024, the year he passed, Mark personally created 40 bowls for the cause. These vases were generously donated by Brett Obra and the team at Humboldt Bay Bistro. Having enjoyed countless sunsets at the restaurant, they&rsquo;re ready to bring warmth and good vibes into a new home. Our goal is to raise $350 with each monthly auction. Spread the word, rally your friends and family, and let&rsquo;s make this auction a success. If you&rsquo;re a local artist interested in donating your work, we&rsquo;d love to hear from you.
