Music Ensemble Launchpad (Beginner Multi-Level) (Grades 1-4)

LXCL:The Groove Academy / Intermediate Rock Band (Grades 5-8). This course designed for students in grades 5 through 8 who already possess foundational instrumental skills. Monthly membership is $100. Class starts on September 16 (September includes the one time $50 enrollment fee). Enrollment includes 1 hour of daycare from 3-4pm (only if needed)

The Groove Academy / Intermediate Rock Band (Grades 5-8)

SMG School is offering 2 music courses after school to help our students learn and grow through music. Please view the 2 classes below:&nbsp; Music Ensemble Launchpad &nbsp;(Grades 1&ndash;4) &nbsp;Wednesdays at 3-4pm Beginner Multi-Level Program -&nbsp;To accommodate growing interest and provide an entry point for students with little to no prior musical experience, this is a comprehensive Beginner Instrumental Program open to grades 1 through 5th. To ensure effective instruction and age-appropriate pedagogy across this broad grade spectrum, the class will be structured as a 1 hour course. This time frame allows us to break down the fundamentals of the rhythm section, harmony instruments, and vocals into digestible segments. Students will learn the essentials of group synchronization, basic technique, and pitch blending, systematically preparing them to eventually transition into the advanced performance ensembles. &nbsp;&nbsp; Complete the form to register your musician and receive program details. The Groove Academy Band (Grades 5&ndash;8)&nbsp;Wednesdays at 4-5pm (If enrolled daycare is provided from 3-4pm) The Intermediate Rock Band and Instrumental Ensemble program is designed for students in grades 5 through 8 who already possess foundational instrumental skills. This class offers a dynamic, heterogeneous ensemble environment where young musicians collaborate to explore a variety of genres such as rock, funk, and pop. The curriculum accommodates a highly diverse instrumentation&mdash;including flute, violin, cello, electric bass, guitar, drums, ukulele, and vocalists singing in harmony. Throughout the academic year, the ensemble will curate and arrange a diverse repertoire aimed at building performance confidence and community engagement.
