Written and directed by George Charbak, The House of Voices is an original chamber play inspired by the atmosphere, themes, and emotional world of Ivan Turgenev’s short story The Singers. Five people gather around a modest bar inside a Victorian home—some strangers, others only pretending to be. One by one, the evening seems to choose who must speak next. Through story and song, carefully protected lives begin to open, revealing old friendships, buried love, exile, loss, and unexpected connections. With the audience seated only a few feet from the performers, this intimate chamber play blends live music, humor, and theatrical mystery. The house seems to listen, the past draws closer, and every silence becomes part of the drama. Your ticket includes pre-show wine and delicious finger food, the performance, a conversation with the cast, and more wine afterward. Seating is very limited. Enter the house, share a table, and become part of the evening.
