Virtual Ticket - The Journey

An expressive arts workshop for women and female-identifying individuals who want to build community and heal from past trauma. This gentle expressive arts workshop invites participants to reflect on a personal journey through guided visualization and creative art making. Using watercolor or pastels, participants will create an abstract representation of a journey, challenge, or transition, exploring its beginning, middle, and end through lines, shapes, colors, and textures. The process offers space to consider what changed along the way, what helped during difficult moments, and what may have remained constant. No art experience is necessary, and the focus is on personal expression rather than creating a finished or &ldquo;perfect&rdquo; piece. Participants are encouraged to engage at their own comfort level, with opportunities for reflection and connection throughout the experience. This workshop will be led by Dr. Jessica Bianchi who is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Board Certified Art Therapist, Assistant Professor at Loyola Marymount University, and Clinical Director of the Helen B. Landgarten Art Therapy Clinic. Her work integrates art therapy, education, and trauma-informed practices to support mental health, resilience, and connection in schools and communities; she is also co-founder of Recipes for Connection.
