Martha Blackwell Miller, 25, was dragged from her hotel room and forced into a waiting carriage by her estranged husband. The carriage sped through the streets and on to New York. This was part of a scandalous divorce case that split the town into two hostile camps.&nbsp; Martin Kivell&rsquo;s article on the &ldquo;Miller Excitement&rdquo; is in the current issue of CONNECTICUT EXPLORED magazine. Martin will give a talk on the subject at the Stamford History Center, 1508 High Ridge Road., on Sunday, December 7th, at 1 pm. &nbsp;Copies of the issue with the article will be sold at a discount.
