It's an event like no other, and we want you to be there! 🎉 Join us in celebrating the birthday of prolific author, reporter, Black Panther political prisoner Mumia Abu Jamal with a dinner, as well as re-invigorating the campaign for his unconditional freedom. He has been unjustly held captive for over 44 years. His firstborn son, Jamal Ibn Mumia, will be in attendance, and will share his perspective on how his father's unjust imprisonment has affected him throughout his life. Lawyer Rachel Wolkenstein who has also worked directly on Mumia's legal case will also be giving a legal update. This fundraiser will be hosted by Meres-Sia Gabriel, the playwright, vocalist, and educator. The event will be catered by Samara Southern Creations. Freedom From Frame-Up Foundation, Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to challenging wrongful convictions, advocating for the release of innocent individuals framed by a politicized and weaponized justice system, and promoting legal reforms to prevent future injustices. Through legal assistance, public awareness campaigns, and legislative advocacy, we work to rectify miscarriages of justice and restore freedom to those wrongfully imprisoned. Every registration to this event will bring us closer to achieving our mission. Together, we can create a brighter, more compassionate world for all. Thank you for supporting our mission, your support is invaluable.
