The River Rave Foundation is the brainchild of DJ Purpose (also known as Kent Schaffer). The goal of the River Rave Foundation is to bring the kayak community together more often, dance together to groovy house music, and raise money for great causes while we do it. Each River Rave Foundation event will have a different non-profit sponsor. The beneficiary and sponsor of the first River Rave Foundation party will be the Columbia Gorge Junior Kayak Club. 100% of profits from this event will go directly to the CGJKC and help ensure that the club is able to teach and bring the raddest young shredders into our close-knit community for years to come. All you have to do is buy a ticket, show up, and dance to help financially support a great organization. The theme of the first River Rave Foundation party is &ldquo;neon beach party&rdquo;.
