Join Fleming County Community Theatre for "The Somewhat True Tale of Robin Hood" 🎭 — Written by Mary Lynn Dobson, this is a comedic, Monty Python-style retelling of the classic Robin Hood legend. The play is a frantically funny, irreverent take on the Robin Hood story, blending slapstick humor and whimsical characters. The plot follows Robin Hood, a self-important yet good-hearted hero, as he attempts to aid the needy while navigating a series of ridiculous obstacles in Sherwood Forest. The story includes a damsel-in-distress obsessed with skin conditions, a bowling-obsessed Sheriff of Nottingham, a gold-hoarding Prince John, and a perpetually present Town Cryer who appears in every scene regardless of relevance. By reserving your seats here, you support our mission to keep live theatre accessible in our community and give neighbors a place to create, learn, and connect. Thanks for your support. 🎉 P.S. Seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open 1 hour before the production start time.
